We are delighted to be able to offer a GED Beginners course for 15-year-olds in South Africa. This is an online study programme in English and Mathematics, also called the TABE course, but we prefer “GED Beginners“. It is a foundational course for students who are still too young to write the official GED tests, but who would like to start building their skills and preparing so long.
This GED® Beginners programme is ideal for students who have not yet achieved a Grade 10 skill-level, which is recommended when you enrol in the online GED® prep course. It was created by the same makers of our super-successful and popular online GED prep course!
This course will cover some basic work that will build a strong foundation as they advance to more challenging work. It will ensure that younger students intending to begin their GED® prep can solidify concepts, before that crucial year before they write the GED (at age 17 or older).
Some of the content near the end of these courses begins to overlap with the online GED® prep course, but this will only help to reinforce the concepts and build the students’ confidence as they see that they have mastered these skills.
The language touches on argumentative writing basics, but does not intimidate the student with formal essays.
The suggested age for this GED® Beginners course is age 15.
The cost of this course is R2 800 per annum (July 2024).
